SentimentScope is a browser extension developed for educational purposes to perform sentiment analysis on text explicitly selected by the user.
The extension only processes text selected by the user when they manually request sentiment analysis.
The extension does not collect:
When the user requests an analysis, the selected text is sent to the configured Senpy sentiment analysis backend in order to generate the analysis result. No additional browsing information is transmitted.
SentimentScope stores user preferences, visualization settings, and analysis history locally in the browser using Chrome Storage. This information remains on the user's device.
Sentiment analysis is performed through a Senpy backend service. The extension does not sell, share, or use the selected text for advertising purposes.
